Recently the press has written a great deal about the situation at the Polish-Ukrainian border and the strike by Polish hauliers. These events directly affect the delivery times of your postal cargo to Ukraine.
First and foremost, trucks carrying air cargo are let through at the border.
The current delay in crossing the border for air cargo is 2-3 days.
The delay in crossing the border by sea containers is up to 5 days.
Our carriers are actively searching for alternative routes to bring sea containers in through the borders of neighbouring states; however, because of the situation at the Polish-Ukrainian border, logistics routes are being adjusted by all market operators, and as a result queues of up to 30 kilometres (about 20 miles) are also forming at the borders of the adjacent states.
Given the current circumstances, you should expect delays in parcel delivery times.
