2).My parcel was stopped and sent for customs inspection. Why was my parcel flagged, and how can I avoid inspections in the future?

All international parcels undergo customs control and scanning upon arrival in the destination country, and customs officers have the right to inspect any parcel. That said, clearance times usually depend on how thoroughly and accurately the sender filled out the CN23 declaration — listing everything in the parcel, quantities and value, hiding nothing and including no prohibited items. Lists of prohibited items are available on our website, in the section for each destination country. There are many examples of careless and negligent declaration by senders. As a result, instead of being a gift and a joy for the recipient, a parcel can turn into a burden: they may have to visit the customs office, provide documents confirming the value of the contents, and, if necessary, pay duties and bear other costs.

3).I live in Ukraine. My relative sent me a parcel from the USA with several canned food products weighing 14.5 kg. The parcel was not released to me. What will happen to it, and will I be able to receive it?

Unfortunately, the parcel must be returned to the sender in the USA, who will have to pay the return cost. The amount of food in postal shipments addressed to Ukraine must not exceed 10 kilograms.

4).When sending a parcel to Belarus, my husband persuaded me to include a few packs of cigarettes. We did not declare the cigarettes on the customs form. The parcel arrived at the postal customs office in Minsk; the recipient was not invited for inspection, but the customs officer did not allow the parcel into Belarus. The recipient was told the parcel would be returned. What will happen to my parcel? What can be done in this case?

Cigarettes, like alcoholic beverages, are among the goods prohibited in international postal shipments. In this case the parcel will be subject to disposal in the customs zone of one of the transit countries. Neither Russia, nor the European Union, nor the USA will allow a parcel with prohibited goods to transit through their territory.

Decades of history

More than 30 years of our company's work are inseparably linked with modern history — changes in the geopolitical landscape, the collapse of some states and the emergence of others. Before our eyes, entire systems and unions ceased to exist, walls fell, borders opened; it seemed the world was changing for the better, becoming more open, friendly and safe.

Our experience amid global change

But on the ruins of old walls and borders, new borders were built to once again divide people and countries; new laws, requirements and rules appeared. Life did not stand still, forcing us to adapt to new realities and to find new logistics solutions and delivery routes for cargo, letters and parcels in a constantly changing world.

Reliability and adapting to new realities

Over these 30 years we have accumulated vast and invaluable experience of working in crisis situations, learned to react quickly to any changes in the customs legislation of different countries and to keep meeting our obligations to clients. Our company has proven its reliability and stability, continuing to work successfully in very difficult conditions.
